Want to understand how the vendor master synchronization happens when ECC is connected to Ariba network.
For example: vendor ABC is created in ECC and the same vendor is available in Ariba network with network id as 123. On what basis the system identifies vendor ABC as 123 in network.

We are implementing integration for Ariba Network And Ariba P2O for our customer.
We will use Ariba Network Adapter for SAP NetWeaver PI for integrating Ariba Network with SAP ERP system for cXML conversion.
However, we would like to know which TLS protocol Ariba Network Adapter supports for Secure communication between Ariba Network and SAP NetWeaver PI Middleware.
If you have any supporting document about this then it will be of great help. Looking forward to hear from you.

We have used Ariba 13s in our Ariba - PI - SAP S/4 integration solution. With the new release, will there be additional fields coming in the Ondemand wsdls ? Do we need to redo the complete development?

We are working on a project where we have integrated the Ariba Procurement Content (APC) with the SAP ECC system using the OCI.
We are in need to send the 'plant id' (ship to address) from SAP ECC to APC in the OCI request which is used for Punch-outs. As per the APC Integration Guide, we need to use the "User.Address.UniqueName" parameter in the OCI configuration.
But we can not give the complete parameter as ECC OCI configuration only supports 20 characters due to which the parameter is truncating to "User.Address.UniqueN" and as a result we cannot pass the values from SAP ECC to APC in the OCI request.
Please help as we need to fix this asap. Thanks in advance.

Ariba x Hana integration would use the same connector currently known (SAP NetWeaver PI) for example or we would have to use a different one for this type of integration?
Im mean would be possible to connect Ariba x Hanna without SAP PI ?

We are trying to integrate Ariba SIPM with SAP ECC so that the Vendor Master Data can be created in SAP ECC post approval of Supplier in SIPM.
The 14s release talks about integration via SAP MDG.
Is there any standard way of integration between Ariba SIPM and SAP ECC without SAP MDG ?
Any documentation on the integration (standard or custom) would be helpful.

When we try to open the catalogue from tcode me21n / me51n on SAP, the catalogue is not being opened, instead we are getting one blank white window page We have checked all parameters on SPRO transaction and everything seems good. We have Internet Explorer 11 in all our PCs.

I am trying to update the supplier master data in Ariba P2P. I want to update the supplier record for only 1 supplier (Supplier SAP ID) so I need to do the incremental load.
I am new to the process and I don't have any guidance available on how to do it. Can anyone guide me about the supplier data incremental load or provide me any documentation for the same.
I would like to know how the data flows between different systems when we do a Punch Out catalog transaction for a particular supplier. We are using Ariba P2P,APC and Ariba POIA modules. For normal PO transaction happens between SAP and Ariba network via EDI.
But I would like to know how the transaction will happen if we are using both APC and POIA and we shop via punch out catalog.

We are implementing Ariba-SAP integration using Ariba provided inbound(to Ariba) web-service. We have configured the Web-Service Security(Sign / Encrypt) with Ariba Web-services. To do this:
Manage --> Administration --> Integration Manager --> End Point Configuration
For Request Message:
1. Signing the message with EAI Private Key
2. Encrypting the message with Ariba Public Key
For Response Message:
1. Validating the message with Ariba's Public Key
2. Decryption the message with EAI's Private Key
All Configuration seems fine. However, everytime we call the web-service, we get following error:
" java.io.IOException: invalid content type for SOAP: TEXT/HTML; HTTP 500 Internal Server Error"
Please suggest if anyone else has faced such issues with Ariba web-services or have any idea about the issue.

For the P2P or Procurement content solutions, we are looking for ways to export the purchase requisition back into SAP for further processing. Anyone have any experience with this?

Someone could you please explain for the integration matters whats the difference between CI -6 X Webservice, or if they are exactly the same thing ?
For my point of view it works like that :
CI-6 Chain
SAP ECC --> SAP PI --> ARIBA ADAPTER (INSIDE OF SAP PI) --> ARIBA NETWORK --> ARIBA SOURCING --> ARIBA NETWORK -> ARIBA ADAPTER (INSIDE OF SAP PI)
WEBSERVICE Chain
SAP ECC ---> EXPORT MASTER DATA IN A CSV FILE ---> ARIBA NETWORK ---> ARIBA SOURCING --> EXPORT THE CSV FILE ---> ARIBA NETWORK ---> SAP ECC
Could some one review the both flow above and described if they are correct ?
