We are using SIM with sourcing and trying to extract supplier master data from ECC.
Can you please let me know the tcode/program in ECC used to extract the suppliers into a CSV file for import into ARIBA ( with respect to SIM with Sourcing )
I managed to find ZARIBA_SSP_MASTER_DATA_PULL but seems that it is not used for supplier extraction from SIM + Sourcing perspective

If we build up integration using the Ariba Adapter network do we also need to use the webservices (WSDL - Sourcingprojectimport and Eventimport) ?

We are trying to integrate CLM with ARIBA contract workbench (on premise). What we would like to do is create a contract in ACC from CLM contract. The ACC contract should get created in published state. please if somebody has any inputs. thanks
As I'm quite new to Ariba, I'm searching for a lot of answers 
. This forum is very usefull fortunately. However I have a specific question from a client for which I can not find a specific answer.
My client currently has no connection to ASN, nor do they have an ANID at the moment.
What they would like to set up in SAP ECC is the self billing process. They would like to use the cxml files as described in the Administrator's Guide for Buyer Integration of SAP ERP (https://websmp101.sap-ag.de/~sapidb/011000358700000993782013E). However, without connecting to ASN.
So the process they imagine is; create the invoice in ECC (CC invoice; using the cxml format provided by the integration). Send it to PI. And PI delivers it directly to the recipient; instead of posting it to the ASN.
Is this process possible? As I see in the document that there are several customizing steps regarding the ANID and connection to ASN.
Would it for instance be possible to register to ASN in order to have the ANID and then continue with their suggested proces as work around? But for what I understand is that in this optis their ANID is not enabled for anything.
Is the process they have in mind possible at all?
Is the suggested work around possible or not?

We are working on a project where we have integrated the Ariba Procurement Content (APC) with the SAP ECC system using the OCI.
We are in need to send the 'plant id' (ship to address) from SAP ECC to APC in the OCI request which is used for Punch-outs. As per the APC Integration Guide, we need to use the "User.Address.UniqueName" parameter in the OCI configuration.
But we can not give the complete parameter as ECC OCI configuration only supports 20 characters due to which the parameter is truncating to "User.Address.UniqueN" and as a result we cannot pass the values from SAP ECC to APC in the OCI request.
Please help as we need to fix this asap. Thanks in advance.

We have Upstream (Sourcing, Contract Mgt, SIPM) and Downstream (P2O) including Ariba Network in our Ariba cloud Realm. We are trying to integrate the creation of a Supplier in SIPM (upstream) through Webservice using PI to ECC. We would like the buuyersystemid to also be updated in ECC such that when P2O (downstream) wants to create a PO in ECC (through carbon copy), it is able to identify the Supplier using the Byuersystemid.
Questions:
1) Does the Webservice Event "OrganizationExportWS" also export the buyersystemid data element
2) Which Webservice (WS) would be able to export the Supplier organization along with the Buyersystemid data element
3) Our preferred path of Integration is WS and if so, is there any solution to Integrate a Supplier created in Upstream to have the buyersystemid exported for supplier creation in ECC?
4) Is the Data Dictionary common for Export/Import and Webservices?
<<Additional Info>> The "Data Export" function using (CSV file) has the Buyersystemid data element in the Export dump file

Where can I find a list of OData services exposed on Ariba?
I understand that there is a series of SOAP Web Services that we can consume directly with SAP-PO (PI/XI) via an Add-On.
And that these services are used to integrate transactions back and forth between the two systems.
However, I am interested in accessing the Workflow Tasks that are being generated on Ariba.
I see also that Ariba has its own Work Engine - therefore, there must be a way to expose the tasks from this engine via OData.
Ideally it should be possible to have Ariba Tasks being approved, rejected via an external application like Fiori or Unified Inbox - which would require an OData Interface exposed or some kind of Ariba APIs to implement it on a Netweaver Java.
How do we go about this? Is this even possible today or is it a "new feature request".

Basically I'm SAP Supply Chain Management Consultant and I'm very new to ARIBA product. My client is looking for integration of SAP and ARIBA Sourcing .
The requirement is when the Sourcing is awarded in ARIBA, system automatically trigger a file and should create the Purchase contract / Order in to SAP .
Did anybody had experience such scenario ? Please let me know what could be the configuration at SAP and ARIBA side. Please share any document if you have to pavankulkarni03@gmail.com

We are in the design phase of building an Integration Scenario between Ariba and ECC via SAP PI for Supplier Master creation / Update. We are not using the Supplier Organization, Supplier, Supplier location objects in Ariba for this Integration rather we intend to use the SPQ as the basis for Supplier Master.
Integration Scenario: ITK with PI using CSV files is the source of the Supplier Master. We intend to use a Proxy adapter (on the receiver Side =ECC).
Key Questions:
1) Is this the best method to perform integration from Ariba SPQ through ITK via PI with the Target being ECC? Are there any potential risks to such a design / architecture?
2) Could you point to some detailed documentation available for PI and ITK to build the above interface
3) Is there a standard Proxy structure available in PI for Supplier Master which can be adopted to accommodate specific custom SPQ fields?
4) Is there a standard Proxy ABAP Adapter available in ECC for Supplier master which works with PI
5) Is there a standard RFC/BAPI/BADI that can be used in ECC for Supplier master creation / update?
Answers or pointers to documentation on the above would of great help,

We have an SAP business process for work orders where the accounting is not known upfront during the PO creation process, and accounting is something that supplier enters at the time of invoice. The challenges that we face here are:
1. Ariba does not have any place on the AN invoice form to capture the accounting. Even if we make a provision to have extrinsic for suppliers to select the accountings, then the maintenance is going to be challenging as these accountings are dynamic and changes every day. Therefore, do not know how we can have these accounting available to suppliers at the time of invoicing.
2. In case, we make accounting available to the suppliers while invoice creation on AN, how can we validate that the accounting combinations are good from an accounting perspective?
If anyone has done similar implementation/setup where this problem is addressed, please share the details asap. Thanks!

Can you please help me to answer below
1. Master data would come from Maximo into Ariba via ETL (Informatica), ETL can transform the data and sends it to Ariba in .csv format. Do we need any data warehouse before sending any data to Ariba. Please let us know the reason as well
2. Is webmethods required as a middleware between Ariba and Maximo. can't we integrate Maximo with Ariba without any middleware.

Hi Experts,
Is it required or even possible to replicate SAP material master field MATNR i.e. material number to Ariba? Or does the mapping happens only between Material group and commodity code?
If there is no mapping defined at material number level then how do validations work while creating a requisition in Ariba with SAP as backend?
For e.g. the error "material does not exists in plant xxx or has been marked for deletion", for this kind of validation there has to be a mapping at item number level. How does it works?

For my point of view it works like that :
CI-6 Chain
SAP ECC --> SAP PI --> ARIBA ADAPTER (INSIDE OF SAP PI) --> ARIBA NETWORK --> ARIBA SOURCING --> ARIBA NETWORK -> ARIBA ADAPTER (INSIDE OF SAP PI)
WEBSERVICE Chain
SAP ECC ---> EXPORT MASTER DATA IN A CSV FILE ---> ARIBA NETWORK ---> ARIBA SOURCING --> EXPORT THE CSV FILE ---> ARIBA NETWORK ---> SAP ECC
Could some one review the both flow above and described if they are correct ?
